We are currently looking for a Software Developer

The development of KILT Protocol by BOTLabs is an essential component of the next generation of Web 3.0. We are looking for support with the further development of our blockchain-based protocol. As a software developer in our team you’re working with proven specialists on a solution for data sovereignty on the internet. For this purpose we need your expertise, enthusiasm and passion for the technologies Substrate (Rust), TypeScript, React, Jest, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS in the world of blockchain.

Your tasks:

  • Work on the protocol and node level of the KILT and Polimec Blockchain
  • Research topics such as Digital Identifiers, Verifiable Credentials, Messaging, Zero-Knowledge Proofs
  • Convert ideas into working protocols and applications
  • Extend and maintain our production code

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • You are a team player who can learn quickly and think creatively
  • You have hands-on experience working in a team of developers
  • You have already coded in Rust
  • You are not afraid to own the complete process from design to production
  • You have a good understanding of DLTs, blockchain architecture, cryptography and PKI
  • You have good English skills in written and verbal communication
  • You live in Berlin or would be willing to move here

Nice to have:

  • Practical experience with Substrate
  • Solid overview of the Polkaverse: Polkadot, Parachain finality, Proof of {Stake | Availability | Validity}
  • JavaScript/TypeScript skills for our SDK
  • Interest/experience in Tokenomics and current DeFi trends
  • DevOps skills
  • Communication skills in German
